Pranayama Series
Thursdays, 8:30 – 9:30 AM
September 5, October 3 & 31, and December 5
Hybrid format
The practice of pranayama is an awakening process involving techniques that give us ways to observe the breath, the flow of energy within the body, and prana—vital life force. By observing and carefully changing the natural breath we create the possibility to transform ourselves. With regular practice, the breath opens, our spirits are lifted, and our awareness of the inner spaces of the mind are expanded with quietude and equanimity.
This series will support your regular practice of pranayama with supine and seated techniques. Open to those who have completed an Iyengar Yoga pranayama course. Class sessions will be recorded; students will have access to the recordings for 21 days.
Retreats
Yoga retreats provide beautiful settings that support taking time away from the routines of daily life to rejuvenate your practice. Tonya offers local weekend retreats as well as week-long retreats that allow students to immerse themselves in the study of yoga while taking in the beauty of the natural world.

Mentorship &
Teacher Study Group
Committed students wishing to deepen their understanding of the Iyengar Yoga method and prepare to teach should study with a mentor. Tonya has mentored several people guiding them successfully through the IYNAUS certification process. Mentorship involves attending weekly classes, observing classes, homework assignments and meeting in small groups to learn how to teach Iyengar Yoga. If you are interested in learning more about mentorship or participating in the Teacher Study Group, contact Tonya.
Private Instruction
Personalized sessions to address common health issues such as lower back pain, neck/shoulder tension, headaches, anxiety or depression, or private yoga lessons to help further your practice are available. Contact Tonya for availability and rates.
